Daily Meals

We Serve Lunch on Monday and Thursday from 11AM to 1PM and distribute food to people as needed

While we feed many hungry adults, one of our main causes here at Shepherd's Office is feeding children, an issue that touches many lives, particularly those in the greater Georgetown area. We spend a significant portion of our resources on tackling this problem. See how you can help by reading more or contacting one of our representatives.

Dinners

Join us for dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4PM to 6PM

In addition to serving a full protein-based lunch several times a week to hungry adults and children, we also offer dinner three times a week.  Our meal options typically include a protein, vegetable, and starch plus a snack bag, all of which helps keep people full all day.

Helping the Homeless

We also assist with EBT, Medicaid, Mental Health and help people network with resources!
The Food Bank also assists with SNAP and WIC applications every Thursday!

One of the main reasons Shepherd's Office was founded in 2019 was to compensate for the greater Georgetown area’s struggles with Housing the Homeless. We’ve dedicated a lot of man-hours and invested countless resources to this charitable cause, and hope you’ll help us continue this work. One of our goals is to ensure that the most vulnerable and at-risk groups in the greater Georgetown area are safe and have their basic needs taken care of. With your generous donations and volunteering efforts, you have the capacity to help us in our endeavour of Fighting Poverty.  Some individuals help by providing nonperishable, high protein snacks. Others supply an assortment of canned, packaged, refrigerated, or frozen products.  A fair number of volunteers prepare entrees on a regular basis or donate clothing, camping supplies, and funds.  See how you can help by contacting us below.

Bible Study

Come together to experience the Gospel Fridays at 6PM (For adults 18+).  Spanish Bible Study is Wednesdays from 6PM to 7PM (El Estudio Bíblico en Español es los miércoles de 6PM a 7PM).

The Shepherd’s Office serves as a lighthouse in lower Delaware for people who have lost their way in the dark storms of life.  Every Wednesday and Friday night after dinner, the Shepherd’s Office offers a Bible Study where all (over 18 years old only, please) are welcome.

“[Director] Jim Martin is working hard to make a difference in individual lives. He bridges the gap between the people who want to help, and the people who need help. He gets right in that space and makes connections.” Melody Westphal, Volunteer
